Toracroix is a kingdom which was founded in 4029TL at the joining of two clans: the Uthandt, a tribe of Syr metalworkers and hunter-gatherers; and the Andtcroix, who were a powerful group of human cattle-herds and agriculturists. The resulting nation benefited from many types of expertise as a result, and Toracroix quickly asserted itself as a capable producer of fine steel and hearty foods - a mean feat considering the considerable competition from Tamera, to the north.



Toracroix is located just off the center of Teidris, the largest continent of Anoth Peras. Its area accounts for less than one sixteenth of the continent's total size. Direct neighbors include Tamera, Keiruki, Schiss?, Schassi? and Ganduin.

The northern third of Toracroix is known as Andtharn, while the remainder to the south is called Thorofax; each is overseen by a baron.

The country is presently led by King Artemur Frasiuc, a dwarf. Beneath him reign humans Baron Vlasi A'afnoux in Thorofax, and Baron Drecat Ansondt in Andtharn.

Toracroix supports itself through the production of weapons, armor, machinery, tools, and assorted foodstuffs - much of which is exported. Toracroix in turn imports many spices and foodstuffs from Tamera, Schiss and Schassi.
