The city of Temprus was the capital of the Mithican empire, originally constructed to house one hundred of the mysterious race known only as the First. The city core is a small, circular walled section perhaps three hundred feet in diameter, although the city's later inhabitants built a sprawl of structures outside this area. At the center of the city core stands a large clock-tower, its face of cut obsidian stone; however, the clock has long since fallen away.



After the exodus of the First, Temprus was unoccupied for at least one thousand years. When it was discovered by the first of the races Men and Stia?, they used its existing walls as a point of defense and built their own nation from the foundation of Temprus. From this rose the empire that would become Tirtha, although the city core was almost never actively used for fear of disturbing the spirits of ancient races.

In 1096GB, the kingdom of Tirtha fell to Pakao?, and much of Temprus burned to the ground. Although the city core remained, the invading army refrained from occupying it - popular belief held the ancient city full of evil spirits and the like - and so, in the next millenia of Pakaori rule, the city (and even knowledge of its location) faded away.
