Nicole Dice is a utility I've developed in Tcl as an upgrade and improvement over leadZERO's popular dicebot. Bugs from the previous version have been fixed, and the program's capabilities have been neatly updated to a much higher standard.

Features:

• Roll up to 500 dice with 500 sides each using common die notation (@roll d20, @roll 6d4, etc) (1.0)
• Supports all die types, from the classic d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20 to the esoteric d30, d50, and more! (1.0)
• Flexible parser accepts loosely-phrased roll commands (2.1)
• Add bonuses and penalties to each roll (@roll d20+2, d20-6, etc) (2.1)
• Supports input in coloured text (2.1)
• Rolls are True Random numbers collected from the Random.org server in Dublin (NEW! 2.2)

Nicole Dice is an eggdrop plugin. Eggdrop is a powerful multiplatform IRC bot with myriad features, including automatic chat-logging and channel management.

• Due to the bot's reliance on a server connection, the bot MUST be given appropriate firewall permissions!
• For the same reason, the bot (version 2.2) will fail to roll when the remote server is down or inaccessible. This is usually not a problem.
• Occasionally rolling extremely high numbers (more than 20d500000, on typical systems) the 2.1 version of Nicole Dice will crash. This does not typically constrain games.
