Kobold

Small, scaled, and strange in appearance, a Kobold - or Karbardah, in their tongue - is not the sort of creature who is welcome in much of civilized society. They stand between two and four feet in height with a hunched-over posture, balanced by a scaly, spiny tail. A kobold's legs are folded in a hook - much like the legs of a dog - and have a long, crooked snout that houses numerous teeth of a decidedly pointy nature.

Special: Kobolds are tenacious, and may reroll any single failed Star check per day.
Kobold Subraces:

• Tar-guskah (Ruddyscale) - Native to Eastland, the Ruddyscale tribes are easily spotted by virtue of their ruddy, red-to-orange scales that approximate the colour of several types of earthen clay.
• Tar-ko-Gorrah? (Smokebelly) - Native to the Wilds, Smokebelly kobolds are distinctive for their dark gray scales, which fade to lighter gray across the stomach.
• Tar-roktah (Ferneater) - Hailing from Tuvia, the Ferneater tribes are pale-to-lush green in colour and no more than two feet in height.* Tar-koma (Overwater) - Ihne's main kobold population is comprised of the Overwater, who traveled by boat across the channel at some point in the distant past. Tar-koma are a pale gray with orange flecks across the shoulders and snout, and comparatively tall.
• Tar-noko-gris (Midgebiter) - The Midgebiter clans hail from the swamps of Artemia, although their precise origin is unknown. They are coloured deep brown, with ghostly white eyes.
