The Four Isles are located in the Alis Gulf, between Tuvia and Tsuruku. They are ruled loosely by a king in Metheris, but for the most part each city is self-governing. Islander economy is based upon craftsmanship and trade; most of their food is grown locally, as the population (roughly 50,000 per island) is small enough to support themselves.
